Hollywood actress Jessica Simpson is reportedly "deeply saddened" by ex-husband Nick Lachey's engagement to his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.

Hollywood actress Jessica Simpson is reportedly "deeply saddened" by ex-husband Nick Lachey's engagement to his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.
"Even though Jessica wants to be happy for Nick, this is a very difficult time for her. Nick was the love of her life then and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She's deeply saddened," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
The two married in October 2002, while their divorce was finalised in 2006.
