An intruder broke into Hollywood actor Zoe Saldana's Los Angeles home but it is not clear if anything has been taken.The Avatar star returned to her home and noticed her abode had been tampered with so she immediately called the Los Angeles Police Department, law enforcement sources said, reported TMZ Online.

The actress has taken an inventory of the property to make sure nothing has been taken. An investigation into the break-in is ongoing.

The 33-year-old actress is not the only big-name star to have had her house broken in to recently.Spider-Man actor Willem Dafoe's top-floor apartment was robbed by cat burglars last year.

Actress Keira Knightley also once had two laptop computers stolen from her London apartment after thievesentered through a faulty communal door.
