Anushka Sharma’s festive Sabyasachi suit is so detailed it’s an actual work of art

Anushka Sharma’s Sui Dhaaga releases on 28 September. We are beyond excited to see Anushka with Varun Dhawan in Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming film, but until then, we are obsessing over the many gorgeous looks Anushka has been wearing to help promote Sui Dhaaga. Anushka is such a fashion icon, and, at a latest press event, Anushka’s rich purple look from designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee made our fashion-loving souls sing. The best part? Her jewel-toned Sabya look is quite a fitting choice for the next wedding you attend as a guest.

At a Sui Dhaaga press appearance in Mumbai on Thursday, Anushka’s Sabyasachi anarkali was the actual stuff of wedding fashion dreams. Everything about this anarkali — from Sabyasachi’s An Endless Summer bridal couture collection — is just so Sabya. The combination of delicate floral gold hand-embroidery and striped white and purple hand-printed chiffon dupatta — paired with antique ‘tilla’ borders from Kashmir — is unique, and we’re in love with the way that Anushka lets her outfit steal the show.

And those statement gold plated glass and pearl earrings from Tribe Amrapali: Everything about this look is perfection, from Anushka’s nude make-up, flushed cheeks, glossy lips and sleek bun to the fact that this festive suit is an actual work of art.

Are we surprised? No. Especially not when you look at the rest of Anushka’s ah-mazingly beautiful dresses she’s been wearing to promote Sui Dhaaga.
