Recently, Bipasha Basu got married to Karan Singh Grover. The actor wore a heavily embroidered gold and red lehenga, which was exclusively designed for her by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Similarly, several other Bollywood actresses have also opted for designer Indian wear for their weddings. Urmila Matondkar (2016): News of Urmila’s wedding, earlier this year, came as a shock to many, but definitely not to close friend and designer Manish Malhotra, who designed the actor’s ensemble. She wore a red and pink lehenga with gold zari work, and a net dupatta. (Instagram )

Shilpa Shetty Kundra (2009): Shilpa got married to businessman Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009. The actor chose a traditional red and gold sari, which was designed by Tarun Tahiliani. According to reports, the outfit was embellished with 8,000 Swarovski crystals. (Hindustan Times)

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (2007): Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan on 20 April, 2007. The actor opted for a golden-yellow sari designed by Neeta Lulla. Her braided hair, which was covered with flowers and gold jewellery, complemented her look.
