Get ready for some glamour at the upcoming Van Heusen India Menswear Week being organised by Fashion Designers Council of India from 11-13 September at Hotel The Grand. Not only will the ramp be sizzling with hot models, the front row promises to be choc-a-bloc with famous faces.
HT City got to know that Bollywood star Arjun Rampal, who recently launched his nightclub LAP in Delhi, is likely to be the showstopper for Rohit Bal’s show. Rajvi Mohan, the only woman designer showcasing at the event will have sarod players Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan walking the ramp for her show, while Maharana Arvind Sinhji Mewar of Udaipur will be present to support debutant designer from Rajasthan, Himmat Singh.
Sources also reveal that India’s most eligible bachelor — Rahul Gandhi — is likely to turn up with sister and brother-in-law Priyanka and Robert Vadra for designer friend, Ashish Soni’s Grand Finale show. Boxer Vijender Singh, Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra and actor Zayed Khan are also expected to turn up.
