Deepika Padukone, without doubt one of Bollywood’s biggest A-listers, swings between decadent and radiant designer ensembles on the red carpet and at high profile parties, premieres and award functions.

She was recently spotted in two seriously-on-point desi Sabyasachi ensembles, fitting with her leading lady status: A whimsical sari with dramatic train at the back at an awards function and a youthful monochrome kurta-churidar at a trailer launch.

On Tuesday, Deepika made a sexy and stylish appearance at the 3D trailer launch of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period drama Padmavati. The actor stole the show in a low-cut black kurti with beadwork detail that hugged her well-toned figure. She paired it with crisp white churidaar.

She was a total winner with her strappy footwear, statement Amrapali earrings, neat low bun with center-parting, nude make-up, light pink lips and a tiny black bindi. The look was reminiscent of Deepika’s signature style - sleek, subtle, sexy ensembles with heavier eye make-up and nude lips - which she’s been crafting for years.

Deepika owned the Marathi Filmfare Awards, held in Mumbai on Friday, with another killer ensemble. The Finding Fanny actor looked absolutely gorgeous in a floral sheer Sabyasachi sari with intricate embellishments. The sari was gorgeous, but the extended train added drama and made it impossible to look away.

Bonus points for the soft and romantic styling: Deepika topped off the outfit with kundan jhumkas, also by Sabyasachi, wavy hair, smoky eyes and nude lips. Classic Deepika.
