The mid-air unveiling of the limited edition ‘Alika Jacket’ by the designer was nothing short of amazing. FDCI president Sunil Sethi made it just in time for the launch. It was nice to see how, for a change, it wasn’t dizened divas who stole the show, but spectacular acts.

But, we didn’t miss socialite Puneet Juneja’s bold, see-through top, which saw quite some heads turning. Actor Nisha Singh, too, garnered attention, albeit for her signature sari style. Socialite Ayesha Thapar’s tightly-fitted trousers in flimsy fabric attracted many a lensman.

Actor Malvika Tiwari looked graceful in black, even as the men sported spunky colours such as green, lavender and blue. Theatre personality Lushin Dubey and actor Nasir Abdullah were joined by Thapar for a quick peck-in-the-cheek greet. As the night progressed, the live act by a band of girls got the crowd humming to My Heart Goes Sha La La.
