It’s the best time to put on your party hat. They have always been a gentleman’s accessory, and like all things retro, they are back in fashion, with the fedora being a hot favourite.“If your trousers are a dark shade and your shirt is a light shade, try and match your bowtie and hat with your trouser colour,” says designer Rajat Tangri.

Glasses

Glasses are mostly considered a necessity, rather than a fashion accessory. But, you can up your style quotient with a perfect pair. Choose the frames according to your face shape and outfit. Opt for wayfarers for a semi-formal look or coloured aviators for a casual one.

According to designer Rahul Mishra, “Your bag should be profession specific.” Smart wallets make for a good impression too. Leather slings are perfect for office. For a casual look, opt for a cool graphic canvas sling.

Scarves can go a long way if you are doing glam. “Go for scarves in tulle and opt for solids instead of checks,” says designer Rahul Mishra. Casually wrap the scarf around your neck and team with a T-shirt and jodhpuris for a day look, or pair a blazer, trouser with a T-shirt and throw on a bandhani dupatta for a smart fusion look.
