Following are the nominees in the ‘Fresh Face’ category of HT Most Stylish Award.
Harshvardhan Kapoor
Son of actor Anil Kapoor, Harshvardhan has managed to garner positive attention right from the time he appeared on the silver screen. The young actor, who made his debut in the year gone by, has struck a chord with the audience. On fashion front as well, Harshvardhan is quite popular just like his sister Sonam Kapoor. The bearded actor is usually spotted in semi-casual outfits and is known for his understated and dapper style. This young actor already has a huge female fan-following.
Diljit Dosanjh
He was already a popular face in the North, especially in Punjab, before making his debut in Hindi cinema. Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh soon became a household name with his impactful performance in Udta Punjab (2016). The actor is also taking slow but steady steps in affirming his position in B-Town. The multi-faceted actor has an easy and causal style when he is off camera. Usually spotted in jerseys, cool tees and denims, Diljit is the current favourite among youngsters.
Aparshakti Khurrana
He starred in the biggest hit of the year, Dangal, which went on to become one of the highest grossers in the history of B-Town. Though it is an unconventional start to his career, Aparshakti left an impression with his role in the film. Younger brother of actor Ayushmann Khurrana is set to carve a niche for himself in showbiz. The actor is quite trendy and fashion forward and that is reflective in his sartorial choices as well.
Disha Patani
She made her debut with one of the biggest hits of the year. Disha may not have played an author-backed role in the movie, but she did justice to her character. The actor received positive feedback for her act in the film. Her striking personality, beautiful smile and confidence struck a chord with the audience. Barely a year old in the business, the young actor has bagged many endorsements and is a popular face in the fashion circles as well. The fitness enthusiast is usually spotted in casual and chic clothing, and can carry Indian as well as western ensembles with ample oomph and grace.
Saiyami Kher
She has been a model and actively involved in sports before she made her foray in the film fraternity. Saiyami Kher made her debut opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor in a period film. The young actor got noticed for her distinctive looks and personality. Known for her curly locks, tall frame and unconventional yet cool fashion sensibilities, the actor can pull off any outfit with poise.
Fatima Sana Shaikh
She has certainly had a dream start to her career. Very few actors get the opportunity to be cast alongside senior actors in their first project and bag a pivotal role to play in a big-budget movie. Fatima made her debut in an Aamir Khan starrer and managed to deliver an outstanding performance, which was appreciated by the critics and the audience. Off screen, the young actor has a causal style, and is mostly seen wearing tees, jeans and baggy trousers.
