It’s raining stars in Delhi

Fashion Week and IPL ensure the Capital’s high on glamour this week.

Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, R Madhavan… There’s a bevy of stars in the Capital. With the Fashion Week and the Indian Premier League on in full swing, the biggest names in Bollywood are making the rounds of Delhi, even as others such as Sanjay Dutt, Kalki Koechlin, Neetu Chandra and Mugdha Godse are likely to make appearances at different events over the next week.

Talking to HT City while in the Capital, Kareena said, “I love coming to Delhi.”

Though the Fashion Week disappointed its opening day showstoppers Minissha Lamba, Sushmita Sen and Tabu, ever since its the usual celeb-spotting at the Week. Actress Sonam Kapoor sat in the front row on day 2, while Vivek Oberoi did the same on day 3. Actress Esha Deol, who walked the ramp with mom Hema Malini, said, “It’s a great feeling to be here with my mom.”

Actresses Koena Mitra and Neha Dhupia also walked the ramp. Amitabh Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza were spotted at promotional events, while Madhavan shot for a car endorsement in the city.
