The four-day Kolkata Couture and Lifestyle Fashion Week (KCLFW) took off on Thursday.

The four-day Kolkata Couture and Lifestyle Fashion Week (KCLFW) took off on Thursday.

Designers such as James Ferreira, Lina Tipnis, Zubair Kirmani, Paras Shalini, Archana Kochar, Rohit Verma and Anita Dongre are showcasing their collections in the second edition of the fashion extravaganza, which will end on April 17.

Kolkata-based designers like Sanchita Jhulka and Kishan Bagri are also joining in to add that local flavour to the event. “Our focus is on niche wedding couture,” says organiser Vivek Agarwal of Idea Weavers. A host of Bollywood celebrities are expected to add to the glamour quotient at the event.
