Lara, Jacqueline to walk the ramp in Delhi

Lara Dutta will walk the ramp for designer Rina Dhaka at The Couture Week in Delhi which will see 12 designers showcasing their collection. An ecstatic Dhaka says, “Lara walked the ramp for me way back in 1998 when she wasn’t even Miss India.”

Designer Raakesh Agarvwal will have Sri Lankan beauty queen-turned-actress Jacqueline Fernandez walking for him. "I saw her on a magazine cover and thought she looked fabulous. I’ve designed something really sexy for Jacqueline," Agarvwal says.

Two other Bollywood actresses, Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan, will be in the front row, cheering for designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. “Rani and Vidya are my friends and I’ve invited them as my guests. They are not walking the ramp because an actress’s job is to act and a model’s job is to walk the ramp,” says the designe who is showing in Delhi after five years.
