New talent on the block, designer Anand Kabra recently showcased his Spring/Sum mer 2008 collection for the forthcoming Fashion Week at Ogaan. "He has built a fan-following for his styles in the city," said Kavita Bhartia of Ogaan, who is all praises for the Hyderabad-based Kabra.

He brings freshness to fashion by the kind of traditional crafts he uses, the colour-combos that he opts for and the silhouettes he creates so very ingeniously .

The collection at Ogaan had a mix of Indian and contemporary wear. In fact, his Ikat and Kalamkari tunics can be worn as trapeze dresses, as well as paired with churidaars. Minimal embellishment using brass discs, sequins and thread add glamour to the garment. Tunics in vibrant colours like purple, green and red with box pleats, boat necks were alluring, and so were the saris paired with collared jackets. The best part about Kabra's summer line is that they look and feel soft and easy . Way to go, boy!
