Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has ditched her natural brunette locks to go blonde for a new movie role. The Black Swan star showed off her newly coloured honey-blonde locks on the red carpet at Walt Disney Concert Hall for the opening night performance of LA Dance Project, presented by her husband Benjamin Millepied.
The 31-year-old actress arrived at the event looking stunning in a strapless white sparkling Dior gown and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, said The Hollywood Reporter.
"My mom says I'm like a different person. I did it just a couple of days ago," Portman said, revealing that LA based colourist Tracey Cunningham was in charge of the transformation. Portman did not say which film was the transformation for.
The actress looked happy and relaxed at the event which featured three performances by the dance company and she later mingled with friend Robert Pattinson and Dita Von Teese at the after party. Pattinson said that he loved the performances but can't see himself ever dancing in a film. "I was inspired but I know my limitations."
