Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has been roped in as the face of the Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana's new make-up range.

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has been roped in as the face of the Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana's (D&G) new make-up range.

Dailymail.co.uk reports that the 24-year-old actress apes late beauty icon Marilyn Monroe in a lipstick advertisement for the fashion house's move into cosmetics, wearing a corset and knickers while lying on silken sheets, in a short blonde curls look and ruby red lips.

“Scarlett is sure of herself. She's a beautiful girl and is really easygoing. She is very Dolce & Gabbana,” said designer Stefano Gabbana.

Johansson has previously also starred in advertising campaigns for Calvin Klien, L'Oreal and Louis Vuitton.
