Dressed in a stylish yet subtle creation by designer Joseph Ribkoff, the official designer for the Miss America pageant, the US Ambassador’s wife Sally Roemer looked every bit the fashionista at this charity do.
“My personal style is a bit conservative, a mix of the all American looks from the 60s, even,” she said as she adjusted the flower detail on her shoulder. “But I really enjoy Indian wear too. Especially saris by designers like Ritu Beri. I wore one earlier today on the ramp and I thought it looked great,” she added with a smile as guests stopped by to compliment her on her outfit. Looks like Michelle Obama isn’t the only style icon from America, popular in Delhi.
