Designed by jewellery house Mouawad, the most expensive handbag ever made is named 1001 Nights Diamond Purse and is worth $3.8 million (R17 crores approx). It is heart-shaped and made of 18kg gold and 4,517 diamonds, featuring yellow, pink, and colourless diamonds. It took 10 skilled artisans and 8,800 hours to create it, and has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records.
