Olympic medal winner Vijender Singh, has decided to wear crystal embellished designer sherwanis at functions during his wedding to Delhi girl Archana Singh, today.

“I’ll be wearing Manav Gangwani’s designs at the wedding. It’s a love cum arranged shaadi for me and I’m really excited. The festivities are on in full swing,” says the 25-year-old boxer.

“Vijender’s wedding outfit is an ivory and gold Tibetan brocade sherwani with Swarovski crystals teamed with a gold stole and a dark fuchsia and red pagdi. For the reception, he’ll wear a golden sherwani with black velvet applique and swarovski and emarald crystals” says Gangwani.

Vijender’s elder brother Manoj Kumar says, “We are all very happy that he is finally settling down.” His coach Jagdeep Hooda says, “Vijender didn’t get much time to prepare for the wedding as the date got decided in a hurry.” Boxer Akhil Kumar, who is also attending the ceremony in Bhiwani, says, “The whole gang is going. We will have a blast.”
