When stars got the trends wrong

Rocking a no-fuss, hippy look is quite ‘in’ this season. But actor Halle Berry seems to have got the wrong memo. Even her svelte frame could not salvage these drop-crotch, tapered pants teamed with a pullover.

Too fitted retro
Going retro with your dressing to quirk up your style never goes out of fashion. But the fitted, high-waisted jeans and the wedge heels make actor Ayesha Takia look stocky. High waisted pants would have been a better choice.

Sheer overdose
Over doing the sheer and sequin trend made stylish actor/VJ Anusha Dandekar score low in our cards. Also, the colour of the netted top does not go well with the pops of red and purple on her sheer pants.

Faux printing
Usually impeccably dressed, actor Huma Qureshi’s attempt at wearing prints turned to be very frumpy. The stark white dress does nothing for her body shape and the loose printed shrug just adds to it.

Neon no-no
Tangerine hue is one of the hottest trend this season, but this outfit failed to make an impact. Not even actor Sushmita Sen could salvage the dress/jumpsuit with overwhelming drapes and an unfathomable silhouette.
