Will she? Won’t she?

Leena seems upbeat about participating at the upcoming FDCI Couture Week.

We caught up with designer Leena Singh of designer duo Ashima-Leena at Delhi’s Aashlok Hospital where she’s currently by her husband’s bedside as he recovers from gall bladder surgery. Despite the medical crisis at home, Leena seemed upbeat about participating at the upcoming FDCI Couture Week. “I am very excited about showcasing at the couture week…in fact we have a big surprise in store, as a part of our collection, which is themed as ‘royalty of India’.

However, FDCI president Sunil Sethi, expressed shock at Leena’s claim and said, “We are yet to finalise the list of the designers who will be showcasing at the Couture Week. Till we announce it, no one’s participation is confirmed. How can Leena claim to be participating? In fact till date, she has made several queries from me about whether she’s on board but I can’t say anything as of now.”
