Paraguay, who were undefeated in the league stages of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, were dumped out of the tournament with a 0-5 defeat as USA eased into the quarter-finals with a dominant display. Tim Weah, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in July scored a hat-trick, while Andrew Carleton and captain Josh Sargent also got on the score sheet in a thoroughly dominant display in USA dominated in all aspects of the match.
