It is not only through football, endorsements or a medley of his other businesses that Cristiano Ronaldo earns money from.

According a recent study, the Real Madrid striker earns an incredible £310,000 every time he shares a post on social media site Instagram.

The 32 year old has more than 106 million followers on Instagram.

A study by Instagram schedulers Hopper puts the Portuguese third on the list behind singer Selena Gomez and socialite Kim Kardashian.

Ronaldo is one of only two sportsmen on the list with Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James the other, and he is ranked tenth on the list earning £93,000 every time he shares a post.

Other names on the top 10 list includes the likes of Kylie and Kendall Jenner, as well as Gigi Hadid.
