Earlier, the plot owners had moved the court against the Huda and many of them have got the order in their favour.

Hinting at a core problem, a senior Huda official, said, “It happens due to the fault of the planning department. The plots were allotted in green belts where high tension electric wires passed, on land where slums dwellers were residing. The department should see these things before the draw of plots.”

DPS Nagal, chief administrator, Huda, issued instructions on Tuesday directing the senior town planner and estate officers Gurgaon to re-allot plots to 50 owners in the next 15 days. The owners had booked plots at Sector 57 through an open draw five years ago.

“We were never given plots and since then we have been moving from Gurgaon to New Delhi where we live,” said an owner to Huda administrator Praveen Kumar. Nagal has directed the official to allot undisputed plots to owners in 15 day of the order at same sector and deliver possession letters within three months.
