Businessman found dead at gurgaon hotel

A Delhi-based property dealer fell unconscious at a five-star hotel in the city and was declared brought dead in a hospital on Saturday.

Preetpal, 39, a resident of Dayanand Colony, died of a heart attack, said the police and the doctor who conducted the autopsy.

No FIR was registered in the case and the body has been handed over to the family. Surendra Singh, SHO of the DLF City (Phase-1), ruled out foul play in the man's death.

According to the hotel management, the two relatives accompanying Preetpal first reported the matter after which he was rushed to the Paras hospital where he was declared brought dead. The man had checked in on Friday with two relatives. Dr Hazari Lal of the Gurgaon civil hospital, who conducted the autopsy, said, "The man was overweight at nearly 150 kilograms. He died on early Saturday morning."

Meanwhile, police have arrested two persons in connection with the death of a security guard whose body was found in a pond in Sector 57. The two are the deceased's brother-in-law and his friend. They allegedly killed the guard for harassing his wife.
