Victim Ramrati Yadav’s husband said the accused attacked his wife after an argument broke out between the two over his poor workmanship.

While the woman is recovering at the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital, the police have registered a case against accused Chotu (25) and are
conducting raids to arrest him. Chotu hails from Bihar and was working in Gurgaon since the last few years. He had worked in the victim's house last year too. Yadav's husband alleged that Chotu held a grudge against the family for not being given work at a new house they were constructing.

Inspector Jagdish Prasad, SHO of the DLF City Phase-2 police station, said, “We have registered a case.”
