All the six cars were stopped by the police to block passage for the speeding truck which was carrying construction material. All the cars were damaged but no one was hurt. The incident took place at around 11 am near Sector 31.

According to the police, the toll plaza staff spotted the truck moving in zig-zag motion instead of using the extreme left lane dedicated for heavy vehicles. The toll operators were told to send patrolling marshals to chase the truck. It travelled about seven kilometres before hitting the cars, Sector 40 police station SHO Vikash Kaushik said.

“It is frustrating to get involved in this. I had come from Noida and was going to Sohna Road for a business meeting. Unfortunately, I will have to miss it,” said a women whose Chevrolet Spark was damaged.
