Haryana CM to lead business delegation to US, Canada

A 19-member team of leading business organisations of Haryana will be part of the delegation led by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar to United States (US) and Canada during his 10-day visit starting August 16.
Industry and commerce minister Capt. Abhimanyu would also accompany the delegation.
During the visit, which lasts from August 16 to August 24, the delegation would visit New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto.
It would hold deliberations with leading industrialists of US and Canada and non-resident Indians (NRIs).
The objective would be to attract them to invest in Haryana in the key areas of food processing, information technology/information technology enabled services, solar energy and renewable energy, mass rapid transport, skill development, defense production - aero space and defence, electronics manufacturing, garments/textile, auto/auto components, industrial parks/logistics, medical tourism/healthcare and pharma.
Apart from this, the delegation would also hold meetings with the United States Indian Business Council (USIBC) and Canada India Business Council (CIBC).
The business delegation accompanying the chief minister would include top officials of various business entities located in Gurgaon, Yamunanagar, Faridabad, Karnal and Rohtak.
