Mukesh Kumar Solanki, the EO-2, has been barred from entering his office, a senior Huda official said.

Solanki had been under surveillance of the Huda administrator for the past several days after complaints of bribery and other irregularities against him from the public.

Apprehending that Solanki may destroy the files in his office, the Huda administrator constituted a committee of senior officials on Monday to discuss the issue. Kumar had sought several files for inquiry from the EO-2 office.

“The committee has decided to seal the EO-2 office. I have asked the officials to implement the decision,” said Huda administrator.

On February 6, Solanki was sent on leave with immediate effect after an order issued by Huda chief administrator DPS Nangal.

Praveen Kumar and Nangal had a telephonic discussion on February 6 over the likely action to be taken against Solanki. Narender Yadav, EO-1, has been given an additional charge of EO-2. The EO-2 office is likely to be reopened on Tuesday.
