Maruti Suzuki gives four ambulances to Civil Hospital

Maruti Suzuki India Limited donated four ambulances to Gurgaon’s Civil Hospital on Wednesday as a part of their corporate social responsibility initiative.

The four basic life support ambulances were handed over to civil surgeon Dr BK Rajora and deputy commissioner PC Meena. Till now, Gurgaon district had a total of 10 ambulances, out of which three were deployed at the Civil Hospital on Old Delhi Road.

The hospital has been in the process of revamping its emergency services as a part of its efforts of acquiring the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) certification.

Some of the factors that are likely to be addressed are the transportation of patients, need for equipment and manpower, infrastructural aspects of accidents and identification of common emergencies.

A Maruti Suzuki official said: “We hope these ambulances will support the healthcare initiatives of the state government.”
