Six-month-old baby goes missing

A six-month-old baby went missing today morning from Sheetla Mata temple here, the police said.

A six-month-old baby went missing on Monday morning from Sheetla Mata temple here, the police said.

The incident took place when the baby was sleeping with his parents outside the temple.

Sanjay Kumar, a resident of Bulandshehar, Uttar Pradesh, came to the temple along with his family. At 2.30am, after visiting the temple, Kumar and his family fell asleep at the parking area outside the temple. At 4.30pm, Kumar woke up to find his son missing.

Kumar approached the police, and a case of kidnapping has been registered with the Sector-5 police station.

“The family came for the purposes of worship at the Sheetla Mata temple from Bulandshehar, UP. About 3am, a six-month-old baby went missing when his parents fell asleep outside the temple premises. We are conducting further investigation into this case,” said inspector Harender Singh, station house officer of Sector-5 police station.
