Be on your toes:
If you have a lot to do in the day, just chart a plan for the day. Plan a work chart and give yourself a designated time for each task.
Smell some peppermint:
The sense of smell can sometimes keep us active and fresh. Peppermint has been proven to keep you alert and also decrease stress. So just a pop a mint.
Take a power nap:
Take a short nap for 20 minutes or so, you’ll wake up energised and refreshed. It will also give you an instant energy boost.
Listen to fast, upbeat music:
There is nothing like music to keep you active.
Eat light:
Never eat a full meal if you plan to be awake for long periods of time. Snack little by little.
Beverage break:
Drinking tea or coffee will help. Caffeine in both the drinks will help keep you alert.
Exercise:
Physical activities such as taking a walk, playing a sport or simply having a chat with your colleague keep you active.
