The American actress is attached to star in An Object of Beauty, a movie adaptation of a novel by actor/humorist Steve Martin, announces Maven Pictures.
The book, which came out in 2010, is about Lacey Yeager, a smart and ambitious young woman out to make a name for herself in the New York art scene. An Object of Beauty follows her ascent from gallery assistant to gallery owner over the course of 15 years, from the turn of the millennium to the present day.
Ned Buston, who made The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby with Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, will be directing.
