Sticking to his gun, actor Robert Downey Jr keeps up the trend as billionaire genius Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the latest Marvel outing, The Avengers, which released in India last Friday to packed houses.

Sticking to his gun, actor Robert Downey Jr keeps up the trend as billionaire genius Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the latest Marvel outing, The Avengers, which released in India last Friday to packed houses.
While it’s an all-star cast, Downey’s been given the thumbs up as the mega-star among his assembled superhero club.
“It was like a complicated pregnancy,” says Downey, adding, “What was fun was everybody really bought into the spirit of the thing.” It’s uncertain whether Downey will be back as Stark after his next, Iron Man 3, either in another solo film or a second Avengers tale. But he feels he has a vested interest in the superhero business.
“It’s dumb not to be open to possibilities, you know?” I kind of almost feel like a shareholder in the company,” he says.
