Actor Elizabeth Hurley says she is very scared of getting breast cancer and fears the worst whenever she gets herself screened for the disease.

“For 364 days of the year, I’m trying to raise awareness about the disease. But on day 365, I get my annual mammogram and, while I’m waiting for the result, I get really, really scared,” the 46-year-old actor wrote in a blog for HuffingtonPost.co.uk.

Hurley also admits that she breaks down with relief whenever she gets the all clear but knows that it doesn’t mean she will be safe from the disease forever.
