A trailer for the dramedy Robot & Frank, starring Frank Langella (Unknown, Frost/Nixon), was released June 25 online, showing the friendship between an aging man and his robot caretaker.

Robot & Frank impressed audiences when it screened at Sundance and other festivals.

The story follows an elderly man and retired jewel thief who teaches his companion robot to steal jewelry for one last heist.

Set in the near future, the story emphasizes the conflict between young and old, as Langella copes with changes, dates the librarian, and makes plans to fund his retirement -- until he is found out and must escape.

The cast also featuress Peter Sarsgaard (Knight & Day) and Susan Sarandon (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps).

The film releases August 24 in North America and rolls out in European markets this fall.
