Frozen sequel in the works, Idina Menzel reveals

While Disney executive Thomas Schumacher said earlier this year that a stage adaptation of the film was a long way off, Disney CEO, Bob Iger has yet to comment on when the sequel will be produced.

Actor Idina Menzel says there might be a sequel to animated movie Frozen, but nothing is confirmed yet.

"They're all in the works," the actor, who gave voiceover for Princess Elsa in the Oscar-winning Disney film and sings the popular theme tune Let it go, said when asked about plans for a sequel and a stage musical of the film, reports contactmusic.com.

"Ah, yeah sure... Not the stage show, I don't know what will happen with that, but the movie hopefully. We'll see," she replied when asked if she was signing up for both the roles.
