Director Alfonso Cuaron'snail-biting outer space disaster movie Gravity is getting a silent space version. There is no sound in space and Cuaron honoured the scientific element by keeping all the sound effects inside the spaceship and helmet.

There is no sound in space and Cuaron honoured the scientific element by keeping all the sound effects inside the spaceship and helmets, reported Entertainment Weekly.

But instead of no-sound, he used the music score by Steven rice, which won him an Oscar.

Cuaron, however, is bringing out a special edition Blu-Ray version of Gravity here fans can experience "the film without music for a surprising cinematic experiment".

The new version will remove Price's score while retaining only the voices of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney's characters.
