Jay-Z to compose soundtrack for The Great Gatsby
A BBC report indicates that American rapper and producer Jay-Z will be scoring the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.

A BBC report indicates that American rapper and producer Jay-Z will be scoring the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.
The artist will compose several pieces for the feature film. A track with Kanye West, No Church in the Wild, has already been unveiled.
F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel has been adapted for cinema by Luhrmann (Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge) and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan. The hotly anticipated film could open the next Cannes Film Festival and is due to be released in France on May 15.
The original soundtrack by Jay-Z should be available before the film hits cinemas.
