“The Comedy Store has been in the business of laughs since the past 34 years and from the looks of it, this will be a pretty splendid opportunity for all the people involved in the event,” says Ward, CEO of the organising initiative, The Comedy Store.
Called, Best in Stand-up, the show will feature three of the country’s best comics- Kunal Rao, Raghav Mandava, Amit Tandon, to make the audience laugh with their rollicking brand of humour. “They took a while to get to Delhi, but they have done a lot for the Bombay comic scene,” says 26-year-old Raghav Mandava. “The initiative has mainly given existing comedians an opportunity to up their game. They are also known for turning amateurs into pros, giving them a platform to hone their skills. And best of all, they pay!” Mandava adds.
