Lucy Liu to play Watson in Sherlock Holmes TV series
Charlies Angels star Lucy Liu is reportedly playing Sherlock Holmes first female Dr Watson in a modern TV update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective stories.

Charlies Angels star Lucy Liu is reportedly playing Sherlock Holmes first female Dr Watson in a modern TV update of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective stories.
The 43-year-old actress will team up with British actor Jonny Lee Miller for new US series Elementary, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Set in New York, Liu's Watson will be a former surgeon and Holmes' sober companion as he struggles with life after rehab.
The drama is loosely based on the hit British show Sherlock, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as the updated literary sleuth and his sidekick.
