Actor Ewan Mcgregor says he was forced to abandon plans for his directorial debut when he discovered someone else was making a film based on the same idea.
He was researching a 1968 yacht race for a movie when he learned the film was already in production, reported Contactmusic.
“My wife was going to design it. And then I found out someone else is doing it. I was gutted,” he said.
