Here’s a synopsis:
In ancient Oceania in the South Pacific, the young Moana is a born navigator who sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her journey, she teams up with her hero and legendary demi-god Maui.
The film promises to be a classic Disney adventure, filled with breathtaking visuals, strong characters, great music and a warm tone.
The trump card here is not Dwayne Johnson for once. It is the man of the year: Lin-Manuel Miranda. The genius behind the hit Broadway musical Hamilton is a co-composer for Moana, and for a many around the world who haven’t had access to Hamilton, this will be their first experience of his work.

Moana also stars newcomer Auli’i Cravalho as the title character. It is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker for a November 23 release.
