Reese Witherspoon floats by in her Elle Woods bikini to confirm Legally Blonde 3

Reese Witherspoon confirmed months of rumours that a third part for Legally Blonde is being made.

Reese Witherspoon has confirmed there will be a Legally Blonde 3.

Reese Witherspoon plays Elle Woods, a law student, in Legally Blonde.

The actor posted a video on Instagram of her floating in a pool wearing a pink bikini, on Thursday. The caption read: “It’s true...# LegallyBlonde3.”

Witherspoon starred as Elle Woods in the 2001 comedy, in which the fashion merchandising student enrols in Harvard Law School to try to win back her ex-boyfriend.

The movie led to the 2003 sequel Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.

Reese is also working on the second season of HBO’s hit drama Big Little Lies with Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley.
