By now, the sheer, embellished gown (a.k.a. the naked dress) seems like a tired trend at Oscars, but on Quantico star Priyanka Chopra, it was absolute perfection. The metallic belt keeps the look from leaning too bridal while the simple hair and make-up complemented the dress in all the right ways.

Priyanka took every opportunity to show off her gorgeous diamond rings, including a 10 carat diamond pinky ring worth $850,000 as well as an 8 carat diamond bypass ring costing $300,000. (AFP)

Priyanka donned a stunning set of front-back diamond earrings and several rings that racked up her outfit’s total worth to $8 million, ie Rs 54,77,20,000! (Yes, PeeCee was wearing enough impressive jewels to produce a Bollywood movie starring one of the Khans.)

She was wearing Lorraine Schwartz jewels including 50 carat diamond front back earrings that cost an incredible $3.2 million. On her hands, she sported a 22 carat diamond ring worth $3.4 million alongside a 10 carat diamond pinky ring worth $8,50,000 as well as an 8 carat diamond bypass ring costing $3,00,000.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Chrissy Teigen also donned millions of dollars worth of jewels on the Oscar red carpet. Take a look.

Supermodel Heidi Klum wore a 20 carat white and pink diamond pave triangle studs to accent her lilac-colored gown. She also donned several diamond rings including a pinkish Golconda 20 carat ring, a 12 carat ring, and a 16 carat ring - totaling 67 carats of diamonds and around $2.5 million - the latter of which she showed off on Instagram before hitting the red carpet. Then there was Lady Gaga. She was one of the stars with the most expensive jewelry with a set of emerald cut diamond earrings costing 8 million dollars. The Oscar performer wore 90-carat emerald-cut diamond drops from Lorraine Schwartz.
