Tom Hardy to play anti-hero in next X-Men film?

English actor Tom Hardy is reportedly in talks with director Bryan Singer to play the anti-hero in the next X-Men film. The 37-year-old actor has previously played Bane in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.

The 37-year-old actor, who has previously played Bane in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012), may play the role of the franchise’s first genetically mutated character, Apocalypse, in the film X-Men: Apocalypse.

The film is set to release in 2016.
