True Blood star Joe Manganiello, can’t stop raking in laurels for his werewolf role Alcide Hervaux in the hit HBO series, so much so that he now confesses of “almost living the part.”
His character’s arms are considered to be the size of a boulder and Joe reveals he leaves no stone unturned to bring his character to life. “I work out twice a day, six times a week. My trainer also trained actor Hugh Jackman for the X-Men movies. So it’s pretty brutal,” the actor tells us over phone from London as he gears up to be seen in the series’ season four.
True Blood v/s Twilight
When asked about the comparisons between the plot of True Blood and Twilight, he says, “The books that True Blood is based on were written much before the Twilight books. In fact, there is a lot of talk that Twilight copied True Blood.”
Joe is also updated about desi flicks and says he is a “huge fan of Slumdog Millionaire though I know it’s not a Bollywood movie”. “I’ve seen Bollywood films but I don’t recall names,” he adds.
