Speaking to reporters at his native village Naravaripalle, Naidu said the state government would develop Tirupati into a mega city in the coming years.

“The government is contemplating beautifying all the tanks in the temple town of Tirupati to make it the best tourist and pilgrim spot. We shall also encourage provision of home-stay facilities for pilgrims coming to Tirumala for having the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara,” he said.

The chief minister said along with Tirupati, the state government would develop Visakhapatnam and Amaravati as mega cities in the coming years.

Naidu also said his government has taken up a comprehensive land survey across the state and it will be completed by 2027. “The land title deeds and passbooks with government seal and QR code will be distributed to all the legal land holders,” he said.
