“India has an open heart. Now, we are also among the most open and integrated economies. I am there when you need me. It is always a good decision to be in India,” Modi said.

“Our economic process is been geared for generating employment of self-employment,” he added.

Addressing the Asian Business Leaders Conclave through videoconferencing, Modi said it’s time for integration for Indian economy.

“We are developing a pentagon of industrial corridors. Roads railways, ports upgraded. This is a time for integration.”

Listing some of his government’s reform measures to transform the Indian economy, the Prime Minister also mentioned the recent demonetisation drive that has impacted economic activity in the past one month.

“We are now moving towards a digital and cashless economy. Presently, cleaning the system from black money and corruption is very high on my agenda,” he said.
