Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued an advisory warning of possible traffic diversions from 6 am on October 10 in view of the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, where demonstrators are seeking the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, among other demands.
The restrictions will be implemented depending on the prevailing situation and may affect traffic movement at several key intersections and stretches across the national capital.

Additionally, police has advised the commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra travel time, as traffic movement at these locations and surrounding stretches may be affected depending on the situation.
The CJP announced late on Friday that the protest would begin at 10 am on October 19, despite Delhi Police denying permission for the demonstration. The government has imposed restrictions in Delhi in view of the protest, including the cancellation of trains to the national capital on October 10, shutting down of metro stations and the suspension of internet services within a 4-km radius of the protest site.
