Twisha had died by suicide on May 12, 2026, five months after her marriage to Singh’s son, advocate Samarth Singh.
Justice Ajay Kumar Nirankari directed Giribala’s lawyer to file a revised bail petition as the original application did not mention the ground of seeking the bail. The court posted the matter for next hearing on October 8.
The police had registered a case against Giribala and her son for abetment of suicide and under the Dowry Prohibition Act over the suicide. Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh have been in jail since June 2, 2026.
